Mohamed Salah announced on Tuesday that his nine-year stay at Liverpool would come to an end this summer. Liverpool are already planning for life without the Egyptian, according to a report from RMC Sport, and two French players feature in the club’s succession planning.

Liverpool are looking to sign two wingers in order to compensate for Salah’s departure, RMC Sport understands. As is the case for many clubs across Europe, Michael Olise features at the top of their shortlist of targets, however, Bayern Munich are desperate to retain the France international. Of course, the Bundesliga giants are in a position to retain the forward, too.

Bradley Barcola could also be an option. The Merseyside club showed an interest in the Paris Saint-Germain winger last summer. PSG are currently trying to extend Barcola’s contract, which currently runs until 2028. However, there is not yet any agreement and many clubs are monitoring that situation.

RMC Sport adds that Yann Diomandé and Francisco Conceicao are also being considered by the reigning Premier League champions.
