Christian Pulisic is not expected to be involved when Milan take on Roma at San Siro in Serie A on Sunday evening, but the Rossoneri have a plan to re-introduce him to the fold in the new year according to the latest updates.
The USMNT star has been one of Milan’s most consistent performers in 2024-25, netting five goals and providing five assists from 14 league outings this term, but has not featured in the last two games through injury and is also likely to sit out of the Roma game at the weekend.

According to reports in Italy, Milan plan to have Pulisic back and fully fit in time to face Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final on January 3 in the new year.
If Milan pick up a win against Juventus in the Supercoppa, then Pulisic would also likely be involved in the final, which is due to take place in Saudi Arabia on January 6.
The 26-year-old is not the only Milan player unavailable this weekend, as Rafael Leao is also due to miss out, as is Noah Okafor, Luka Jovic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
