Milan are prioritising the construction of a strong Italian core for next season, with Nicolò Zaniolo and Moise Kean emerging as primary targets for the new technical project.
According to Daniele Longo, manager Max Allegri is particularly keen on bringing Zaniolo to the San Siro. The Rossoneri management views the former Roma man as a profile capable of providing the Italian spine that the squad currently lacks.
Zaniolo is expected to complete a permanent move to Udinese first, after which Milan will likely launch a concerted pursuit to secure his services from the Friulian club.
In addition to Zaniolo, Milan are also monitoring Moise Kean. The striker is well-known to Allegri, having previously played under the tactician during their shared time at Juventus.
The goal for the upcoming summer window is to re-establish a local identity within the side, blending Italian talent with Allegri’s tactical requirements to ensure a more cohesive squad for the 2026/27 campaign.
