Mile Svilar is once again being talked about in reference to his contractual situation.
The goal-keeper has been Roma’s most consistent player this season, after emerging as the first-choice goalie last year, replacing Rui Patricio in the Giallorossi’s line-up.
In the meantime, Svilar’s contract is still set to expire in 2027 and his salary has yet to be raised from the meager 800,000 euros he currently earns.
According to Il Messaggero, Roma are in a hurry to secure a new contract for him.
The newspaper claims that in recent months, Mile Svilar has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, from West Ham to Guardiola’s Manchester City, who are looking for a new goalkeeper given Ederson’s decline.
Talks with Svilar’s agent over a new deal have reportedly picked up a week ago, as confirmed by the player himself in yesterday’s press conference.
