Leeds City Council has confirmed Millennium Square will stage a World Cup 2026 fanzone on Wednesday, with England’s semi-final shown live on a giant high-definition LED screen.
England are into the last four after Thomas Tuchel’s men edged Norway 2-1 in extra time in Miami, where Jude Bellingham kept his cool in the heat and humidity. Jubilant celebrations followed in Leeds.
Supporters can cheer on Tuchel and his team in an outdoor arena with concert-style sound. Entry is by advance ticket only and the event is standing-only.
Gates open at 6pm with a live DJ and pre-match entertainment, with an 8pm kick-off. On site there will be two licensed bars, street food, toilets and drinking water.
The venue is fully accessible, including a raised viewing platform and disabled toilets.
Tickets cost £6 per person, inclusive of booking fees, and go on sale at 10am on Monday, 13 July. They can be booked online or by calling 0113 376 0318.
Tickets are limited to two per person and are expected to sell out quickly. The event is open to ages 14 and above, with all under-18s accompanied by an adult.
