MN: ‘Continues to collapse’ – Conceicao’s Milan have only one trend this season

This year, AC Milan have seen very few constants. However, one has emerged since Sergio Conceicao’s management, but it is not positive.
In the past few months, Milan’s hopes of a European place have continued to dwindle, and the loss against Atalanta last night is only the latest instance of a defeat which has harmed the club’s chances of playing in another competition next season.
You could probably go further than this and state that the defeat is enough to write off a place in Europe next year, so now, the club must rely on winning against Inter and then the Coppa Italia final, against whoever that may be.
Confidence is certainly not high, though, and it is not because of quality, but rather a failure to learn, as Milan News write. This morning, their report stated that it is ‘always the same goals and things to analyse’ after games.
There is a clear trend of this team collapsing mentally, and then making the same repeated mistakes which have been seen all season. Unfortunately, the same players are usually at fault. Then, there are a few ways that have been seen to solve this, but none work. Conceicao’s changes are often poor and ineffective, coming at the wrong times.
At present, his side, and Milan generally, are a ‘poor copy of the ambitious team they want to be’, and there are no signs of that changing in the final few games.
