Sergio Conceicao wasn’t the only one who battled illness ahead of AC Milan’s clash against Juventus, with Tammy Abraham and Alex Jimenez struggling as well. That being said, all three of them were able to feature yesterday.

Conceicao’s presence on the bench was in doubt due to a fever, but in the end he was able to lead his team for the first time in person. After the game, Abraham revealed that he also didn’t feel well leading up to the game, getting little sleep during the night before.

According to MilanNews, Abraham and Jimenez both had flu-like symptoms – including fever – and thus didn’t get much sleep ahead of the game. They felt better yesterday, despite the lack of sleep, and Conceicao was able to use them both in the game.

Abraham had a very positive impact off the bench, as highlighted in our player ratings, while Jimenez looked a little tired from the get-go. Nevertheless, the hope is that the flu issues will be gone for the game against Inter on Monday evening.

It’s also possible that Leao could make it back to play a few minutes, but a full game has already been ruled out for the winger due to the muscle injury.
