Santiago Gimenez explained: "When Modric arrived, we walked into the dressing room and every player had a brand new iPhone on their seat."

He added: "Modric gave us all these gifts, he bought a phone for each of us. Normally, the new signing has to sing in front of everyone, but Modric chose to surprise us with this generous present."
