The young Senegalese midfielder will miss the trip to Brittany, replaced by a recruit from the youth academy.
Lamine Camara - Monaco
Lamine Camara will not feature in the match between AS Monaco and FC Lorient, scheduled for Saturday, September 27 at the Stade du Moustoir. Sidelined with a sprained left ankle, the Senegalese midfielder has been replaced in the squad by Pape Cabral, a product of Monaco's academy.
Lamine Camara withdrew from the Monaco squad on the eve of Ligue 1's Matchday 6. Suffering from an ankle injury, he could not be included in the list of players travelling to Lorient. His absence adds to that of Maghnes Akliouche, who is ill, along with several other players already ruled out in Adi Hütter's squad.
In response, the coaching staff has promoted Pape Cabral to the first team. At just 18 years old, the young midfielder took part in the final training session before the trip to Brittany. He joins Mamadou Coulibaly and Jordan Teze as one of the few available options in central midfield.
Before his injury, Lamine Camara had featured in five Ligue 1 matches since the start of the season, providing three assists.
