Real Madrid crushed Monaco 6-1, with Jordan Teze and Thilo Kehrer enduring torrid nights, despite Teze scoring.

According to Nice-Matin, Mbappé’s pace proved too much for the pair on Tuesday night, with Madrid’s forwards repeatedly finding gaps.

Philipp Köhn avoided glaring errors yet still shipped six, without notable saves. Vanderson began solidly but lost Vinicius for the second, and the fourth came from his flank. He went off on 61’ for Ouattara, who made a brave late recovery.

Eric Dier almost headed past Köhn on 21’ and was repeatedly isolated, notably on the third and fifth. Kehrer was steady to half-time then unravelled with two risky passes and an own goal.

Caio Henrique endured a rough duel with 18-year-old Argentine Mastantuono and was slow to recover on the third. Denis Zakaria covered for others before fading. He was replaced by Bamba on 73’.

Used in front of the defence, Teze was involved in Madrid’s first four goals through poor positioning or turnovers, then scored to reduce the deficit. Maghnes Akliouche improved after the break and was one of the few to trouble Madrid.

Aleksandr Golovin made little impact and was rolled by Camavinga for the second. Ansu Fati was just short of a 19’ cross, lacked end product, and was replaced on 61’ by Coulibaly, who jogged back on the fifth.

Folarin Balogun held the ball up well and drew a first-half save. The coach was rated two, defensive issues remain, while match and referee were sevens.
