Thomas Frank revealed he wants Harry Kane back at Tottenham, as he told the striker he is "more than welcome" to make a return to north London.
Kane left the club in the summer of 2023 to join Bayern Munich and picked up the trophy he craved last season when winning the Bundesliga title.
The 32-year-old has shone on an individual level during his time in Germany, scoring a remarkable 98 goals in 103 appearances.
However, talk of a potential return to Spurs has continued in the background. The deal to take him to Bayern is understood to have included a clause that effectively gives Spurs first refusal should he leave the club.
Reports in Germany have suggested that Kane could leave next summer for a £56.7million fee, though he would have to tell Bayern by the end of the January transfer window to activate that.
Asked about the prospect of Kane once again putting on a Spurs shirt, Frank made it clear he would relish the chance to work with the England captain.
“I think there’s a lot of Tottenham fans including myself who would like to see Kane back," Frank said.
“He’s a top player. Personally, I don’t think he will do it right now, if I’m honest, he’ll probably stay in Bayern and continue performing well.
“He was top-scorer last year and won the championship, he’s doing fantastic now.
“I don’t know what he’s thinking. Myself, I’m a traveller, I like to travel, I like to explore things as well. He’s been here for many years so why not enjoy the time at Bayern a little bit more.
“But he’s welcome. If he wants to join us, he’s more than welcome."

The opportunity to come back to England and break a longstanding goalscoring record is one that will appeal to Kane.
He currently sits on 213 Premier League goals, 47 off the current record set by Alan Shearer, and so could potentially break that if he played another two seasons in England. Kane is already Spurs' all-time top scorer with 280 goals.
Whether Spurs would come close to matching Kane's current wages of around £400,000-a-week is a key question, even in a post-Daniel Levy era where the club's owners appear increasingly ambitious to deliver more success.
