Morocco continues to lock down its emerging dual-national talents. Promising PSV Eindhoven striker Sami Bouhoudane has chosen to represent the Atlas Lions on the international stage, turning his back on the Dutch national team, which had hoped to bring him into its youth setup. The news was confirmed by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano on his official X account.

At just 18 years old, the striker, who has been with PSV since 2018, has quickly established himself as one of the club’s most promising attacking prospects. This season, he’s been shining both with the U19s and the reserve team. In the Youth League, he has especially stood out, netting four goals in four matches, while he’s also tallied five goals in twelve appearances in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

Now called up to Morocco’s U20 squad, the striker appears to have definitively settled his international future.
