Motorcycle riders take over St. James' Park ahead of Red Bull Tyne Ride | OneFootball

Bolt ripped through the St. James' Park stands with exclusive access, granted through Red Bull's partnership with Newcastle United. In a face off against fellow British rider, Jack Price, the Red Bull rider was given 'the keys' to the stadium ahead of the Premier League season kicking off, and the return of Red Bull Tyne Ride on Saturday, August 30th.

The Geordie rider cruised past the famed Alan Shearer statue, taking two wheels up Gallowgate West stairs, and into the stadium - avoiding the pitch.

Bolt faced off with Price in a series of challenges, speeding pitchside in timed trials, a wheelie race, and a head-to-head up the stands, each adjudicated by racing legend, Dougie Lampkin.

Billy Bolt said: "That was epic - and pretty gnarly! The stadium's super high up, so if you come off at speed around a corner you're gonna roll down the stands a good few metres with chairs in your face.

"No matter where in the world I'm racing, I'm always watching the Newcastle lads when they play, so it was great to unite my two passions - thanks to the team for letting us rip it up. And like any good fan, we kept off the grass - so they can get back to the footy!".

Now in its second year, Red Bull Tyne Ride is the most daring and creative urban motorbike head-to-head in the world. Dreamed up by Billy Bolt himself, the event will again transform Newcastle's Quayside into a purpose-built battlefield where world-class Enduro riders go wheel-to-wheel in a bid to be crowned champion.
