According to Glorioso 1904, Benfica enter the international break with a reduced group at Seixal after the 3-0 win over Vitória de Guimarães, leaving Mourinho with fewer options.

Most first-team regulars have joined their national squads. The players were granted a few days off after the victory, but many starters travelled immediately, trimming recovery time.

Those remaining include Samuel Soares, Samuel Dahl, Enzo Barrenechea, Manu Silva, Rafa Silva, Franjo Ivanovic and Henrique Araújo. Youngsters Prioste, João Rego and Gonçalo Oliveira are also involved.
