Mykhailo Mudryk is being monitored by multiple Premier League clubs ahead of the January window and the Blues could accept a potential offer according to Football Insider.

Chelsea paid an initial £62.5m for the Ukraine international in January 2023 and that fee could rise to £88m if certain conditions are met.

The Blues swooped in under Arsenal’s noses at the last minute to get the deal done, but it’s fair to say Mudryk hasn’t lived up to expectations at Stamford Bridge so far.

The 23-year-old had a difficult first six months at the club and failed to register a single goal contribution, but he showed signs of improvement last season with seven goals in 41 appearances in all competitions.

The signings of Pedro Neto, Joao Felix and Jadon Sancho has seen competition increase massively in the attacking third, making it harder for Mudryk to get regular minutes.

The Ukrainian has started just one league game this season in which he was substituted at half time, and Enzo Maresca has criticised him publicly this season.

Competition for places and Mudryk’s form has seen him linked with a move to Marseille, whilst Crystal Palace are also thought to be interested.

With the January window fast approaching it’s likely more reports will appear in regards to Mudryk’s future and Football Insider have reported multiple Premier League clubs are monitoring the winger.

The report adds that Chelsea have prepared themselves for approaches, but are reluctant to let Mudryk leave as they try and qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Mudryk has shown signs of improvement in recent weeks and he’s featured more regularly from the bench, a sign that Maresca is perhaps starting to trust him more.

The bulk of his minutes have come in the cup competitions and Mudryk has started every cup game this season, and has two goals and three assists in three Conference League games this campaign.

He will be hoping over the busy run up to Christmas there will be opportunities to start in the league and it will then be down to him to make the most of it and show the obvious talent he has.
