Forgotten Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk has been pictured working on a project away from football amid his ongoing ban.

Mudryk is provisionally suspended having failed a doping test last year, and hasn’t played for Chelsea since the end of November last year.

Updates about Mudryk have been few and far between, and Chelsea are still awaiting an official outcome to the case.

Mudryk has always maintained his innocence, and has kept a low profile outside of an official statement, and a few social media updates.

The Ukraine international is believed to have been provided with a fitness programme by Chelsea, although he’s not allowed at the club’s Cobham training base.

It’s been claimed by a Ukrainian journalist that Mudryk failed a doping test because of a stem cell injection he received on international duty.

Despite it being almost a year since he last played for the Blues, an official outcome doesn’t appear to be any closer.

However, Mudryk has been pictured wearing his Chelsea tracksuit bottoms as he took part in filming for a film about Shakhtar Donetsk and the war in Ukraine.

He was pictured alongside a number of film makers and Croatian football manager Igor Jovicevic in a photo uploaded by Shakhtar CEO Serhiy Palkin.

Four year ban worse case scenario for Chelsea star

Mudryk has been charged by the Football Association, and faces the possibility of a four year ban if convicted, although he’ll likely appeal any outcome.
