Napoli agree terms with Girona with Miguel Gutierrez | OneFootball

Serie A champions Napoli are working on a deal for Miguel Gutierrez and have now found an agreement with Girona.

Corriere dello Sport claim that the 24-year-old will travel to Naples with the Girona squad for a pre-season friendly but he is unlikely to play due to injury. There is now a lingering question about whether he could end up staying back in Naples.

There is an agreement between Girona and Napoli over a permanent deal worth €18 million and the Partenopei have made contact with the player’s agent. There is no agreement over personal terms but work is ongoing to make it happen.

This move presents a change of strategy from Napoli, who are now not expected to sign another winger and will only sign wing-backs like Gutierrez and Juanlu Sanchez.

An agreement is yet to be reached for the Sevilla right back but there is an agreement over personal terms.
