Reports in Italy claim that Napoli are expecting to reach a final agreement with Bologna for the transfer of centre-back Sam Beukema on Thursday, July 10.
Napoli, who have already welcomed Kevin De Bruyne and Luca Marianucci this summer, are expected to make several more additions this transfer window as the team prepare for their return to the Champions League, having won the Serie A title under Antonio Conte in 2024-25.
The Partenopei have, for several weeks, been pursuing a deal with Bologna for 26-year-old Beukema, who has spent the last two seasons in Serie A after his move away from AZ Alkmaar in 2023.

Football Italia understands that Napoli will close the deal for a fee in the region of €30m.
According to updates from Sky Sport Italia, Napoli and Bologna are expected to shake hands over the deal on Thursday, July 10.
Bologna, meanwhile, have already brought in a new centre-back in Martin Vitik, who arrived from Sparta Prague in a €15m deal earlier this week.
