Napoli show interest in West Ham’s Jean-Clair Todibo | OneFootball

Napoli are reportedly interested in West Ham United’s Jean-Clair Todibo (26), according to Sky Sport.

In search of defensive reinforcements to cover for the long-term absence of Alessandro Buongiorno (27), who has suffered a meniscus injury to his right knee and is set to undergo surgery, the Azzurri are said to have made the Frenchman one of their options.

Chelsea’s Benoît Badiashile (25), Juventus’ Federico Gatti (28) and Lecce’s Tiago Gabriel (21) – whose transfer fee remains very high – are also on the list of options being considered by the Neapolitans. However, if they are to sign new players, they will first need to finalise a number of departures, having already seen no fewer than six players – including Giovanni Simeone (30), Juan Jesus (35) and Alessandro Zanoli (25) – leave this summer.

Todibo, whose contract with the Hammers runs until 2029, could therefore soon be leaving England, which he joined two years ago and where he has made 54 appearances for his London club.
