The Rojiblanca defender earned a spot in the starting lineup and played the full 90 minutes, serving as a key piece of Mexico's back line. In addition to providing defensive stability, she stood out for her ability to build from the back, breaking lines with long passes that sparked several attacking sequences.

Mexico's complete control of the match also allowed Colín to join the attack on multiple occasions, including one dangerous effort inside the box that forced an excellent save from the Jamaica goalkeeper.
