Chelsea will entertain Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge this Tuesday night as they look to secure a win in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League last-16 clash. The Blues suffered a 1-0 loss at the hands of Newcastle United recently, so they would be eager to bounce back by earning a positive result this week.

Liam Rosenior will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first team for this game. Pedro Neto could get a chance to impress from the start of this contest, while Alejandro Garnacho makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Defence

Robert Sanchez will function in between the sticks for the Blues after he conceded one goal in his last appearance. Wesley Fofana will operate alongside Trevoh Chalobah at the centre of Rosenior’s defence as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.

Malo Gusto will try to prove his value as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and express themselves inside the PSG half as the Blues attempt to make an unlikely comeback this Tuesday night.

Jorrel Hato and Tosin Adarabioyo will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.

Midfield

Moises Caicedo and Reece James will anchor the midfield for the West London club as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Pedro Neto, Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer will play just ahead of them as part of the Chelsea attack. All three of them need to be at the top of their game if the Blues are to secure a victory in midweek.

Andrey Santos and Romeo Lavia will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Joao Pedro will spearhead Chelsea’s attack up top. He has to find a way to be a real threat on the offensive end of the field.

Liam Delap and Marc Guiu will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the final quarter if needed.
