Another record for one of the most decorated goalkeepers of all time: Manuel Neuer is Bayern's oldest ever player in the Champions League and dethrones legend Lothar Matthäus!

At 39 years and 174 days, Neuer is set to extend his new record over this season. Given the fact that Bayern aims to get as far as possible in this Champions League campaign, he might even crack the 40-mark in a few months! Should Bayern win the competition, Neuer would even become the oldest ever player to hold the Champions League trophy.
