Reports in Italy claim that Napoli were in contact with Manchester United again on Friday as they continue to hold out hope regarding the signing of Alejandro Garnacho in January, even though the Partenopei have made progress in talks with Borussia Dortmund for Karim Adeyemi.
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, representatives from Napoli were back in touch with their Manchester United counterparts on Friday as they attempt to beat Chelsea to the signing of the 20-year-old Argentina international.
Di Marzio adds that Garnacho is ‘prioritising’ a potential move to Napoli over the Chelsea possibility.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have not yet submitted an official bid as of yet while Napoli have sent United a series of offers, but have not yet reached an agreement.
According to updates earlier in the week, Napoli’s latest offer stands in the region of €50m-€55m, while United are holding out for a fee of €65m plus bonuses.
Napoli still hope that Manchester United will lower their demands for the talented youngster.
