Alexander Isak is one of the most sought-after strikers on the market, and Newcastle have reportedly set a high asking price. According to The Mirror, any club looking to sign the Swedish forward will need to pay €180 million, a fee that would break the Premier League transfer record.
If the Magpies do sell, they already have a replacement in mind, and Paris Saint-Germain could benefit from the deal.
CaughtOffside reported that Arsenal are preparing a formal offer for Isak this summer, with the Gunners showing the strongest interest. Other top clubs are also monitoring the situation.
Meanwhile, Newcastle are working to secure Isak to a new contract, hoping to raise his salary and make it harder for other clubs to lure him away, according to CaughtOffside.
One possible concern for Newcastle is the risk of missing out on Champions League qualification, which could push Isak to consider a move. Furthermore, several clubs are reportedly ready to offer him a key role.

CaughtOffside reported Tuesday, citing sources, that Newcastle are already eyeing Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike as a potential replacement for Alexander Isak. The club had shown interest in Ekitike during his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
The Ligue 1 club also has a 20 percent sell-on clause in any future deal, so it would have a stake in his potential transfer.
