Real Madrid are keeping a close watch on the development of former academy midfielder Chema Andres, who is beginning to attract serious attention from several top Premier League clubs.
According to a recent report from AS, the 20-year-old midfielder has emerged as a player of interest for teams in England following his impressive performances since moving to Stuttgart.
Chema left Real Madrid during the summer transfer window in a deal worth €3 million, seeking regular first-team opportunities in Germany.
However, Madrid ensured they would retain influence over the player’s future by inserting important clauses into the agreement.
The Spanish giants hold a buy-back option worth €10 million, allowing them to bring the midfielder back to the Santiago Bernabeu if his development continues to progress.
In addition, the club also secured 50% of any future transfer fee, meaning they would benefit financially if Stuttgart eventually decide to sell him.
Just like Nico Paz, Chema’s move to Germany appears to be paying off so far.
This season, he has already made 30 appearances across all competitions, contributing two goals and one assist.

More importantly, his performances in midfield have caught the attention of several scouts across Europe.
Reports indicate that representatives from Newcastle United have watched the midfielder in person multiple times as they assess a potential move for the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Premier League club are not alone in their interest. Two other English giants, Arsenal and Manchester City, are also believed to be monitoring the player’s progress closely.
Despite the growing attention, Chema himself is not rushing into any decision about his future.
The midfielder is reportedly focused on continuing his development at Stuttgart, where he has been able to gain valuable playing time.
For Real Madrid, however, the situation remains extremely interesting. With the buy-back clause in place, the Spanish club effectively holds a strategic advantage.
If Chema continues his upward trajectory and attracts bigger offers, Madrid will have the option either to bring him back or benefit financially from any transfer.
As a result, the coming months could be decisive for the young midfielder’s career, with Premier League interest intensifying while Real Madrid monitor every step of his progress.
