Newcastle United have been linked with a move for Real Madrid striker Gonzalo García according to reports.
García is a Spanish U21 international and has come through the academy at Real Madrid with journalist Graeme Bailey of TEAMtalk reporting that the Magpies have been keeping extensive tabs on the player.

The North East club are said to be looking for more attacking reinforcements with García among the names considered.
This season the Spaniard has featured more than would be expected with Los Blancos' campaign blighted by injuries to senior players.
In total, the 22-year-old has featured 36 times for Real Madrid so far this season, scoring six goals and making two assists.
