Only Newcastle United members can enter, including those season tickets holders who haven’t chosen to automatically get all home Carabao Cup tickets.

Details of Newcastle v Chelsea tickets for away fans have also been made public today.

The Chelsea allocation is 4,883 tickets.

In the Carabao Cup, away sides are entitled to 10% of capacity (15% in FA Cup matches). Although sometimes the relevant authorities and clubs themselves, can decide to not give as many as the competition rules point to.

Whilst 10% of the St James’ Park capacity would equal 5,200+ Newcastle v Chelsea tickets, issues with segregation and home and away fans needing to use different exits, has meant this kind of slightly ticket total for away fans has been applied at SJP.

Newcastle United fans hoping Chelsea won’t be able to sell all their tickets for this away game, so that bonus ones could be made available for home fans. Interesting to see if our cockney mates sellout.
