I can’t figure out whether Nicolas Jackson has been taking parting shots at Chelsea since leaving or not at this point.

But it doesn’t look like he is saying the best things about his time there and it certainly seems like he has no intentions of ever playing for them again!

Jackson completed a loan move to Bayern Munich on transfer deadline day after a bunch of drama in the final days of the summer transfer window.

He flew on a plane to Germany to complete his medical to join Bayern, but then Chelsea saw Liam Delap get injured and could be missing him now for six to eight weeks or even more so they called Jackson and told him to come back and his move to Bayern was over.

But Jackson and his agents stayed in Germany and battled to complete the move. In the meantime, Chelsea recalled Marc Guiu from his loan move at Sunderland and seemingly decided to let Jackson complete his move to Bayern as he so desperately wanted to do.

It was a bunch of drama, but the striker has made it clear he needed this move and has also made it clear that he wont be coming back to Chelsea even though it’s just a loan move with an obligation.

Parting shot at Chelsea?

Jackson says he was emotional to leave Chelsea but not for the reasons we might think. And it sounds like from the words he has said below, that it was more for joining a huge club like Bayern Munich. Wow.

Jackson said on leaving Chelsea:

“Very strong emotions, but not for the reasons you might think. I was simply very happy to sign for one of the biggest clubs in the world, to discover another league and other great players.

“At the same time, I was a bit sad to leave Chelsea, my teammates, and the fans.”
