It has been suggested that Chelsea loanee Nicolas Jackson is unlikely to remain at Bayern Munich beyond the end of the season.

According to reports, Bayern have an obligation to buy Jackson permanently for €65 million if certain conditions are met – but the striker can no longer fulfil those requirements.

Despite this, Jackson’s agent, Ali Barat, has not ruled out a permanent stay at the Allianz Arena, saying that his client's future remains fully open.

“I think the season is still very young,” Jackson’s agent, Ali Barat, told Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano when asked about the striker’s future beyond the summer.

He added that the Senegalese forward still has a "long season" ahead with Bayern Munich.

"I think it's very early to answer that question, to be honest. Nico and I will sit down at the end of the season, review all the options, and then we’ll make a decision together."

Jackson, who is currently representing Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations, has scored five goals in 18 appearances for Bayern so far.
