Francesco Pio Esposito and Ange-Yoan Bonny have been nothing short of exceptional since their arrival at Inter Milan this summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the duo’s emergence has banished doubts over Inter’s attacking depth.

Inter used to struggle in the absence of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram last season.

Indeed, backup strikers Marko Arnautovic, Mehdi Taremi, and Joaquin Correa often failed to live up to expectations.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri showed them the door during the summer transfer window.

Unlike their predecessors, Bonny and Esposito have seized every opportunity at the beginning of the season.

The Frenchman has already netted two goals and provided three assists in Serie A alone.

Meanwhile, the Italian prodigy has scored once in league action. However, his overall performances have been outstanding.

As a result, Cristian Chivu has no reason to fear losing Lautaro or Thuram throughout the campaign.

The latter is currently on the sidelines with a thigh injury.

Yet, with Bonny and Esposito firing on all cylinders, Inter look well-equipped ahead of Saturday’s trip to Rome.
