Hakan Calhanoglu and Kristjan Asllani are the only selection doubts in today’s Serie A clash between Parma and Inter Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Inter Milan take on Parma away in Serie A this evening.

And Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi is well aware of how important this evening’s match is.

Parma may not be the most challenging opposition on paper. But they will have no shortage of motivation, as a surprise result against the reigning champions would be a huge Serie A survival boost.

And a victory this evening would be a huge boost for Inter as they aim to hold off Napoli.

For these reasons, the Gazzetta report, Inzaghi will play more or less his strongest starting eleven.

That means that Inter captain Lautaro Martinez will return to the lineup.

And on the right flank, Matteo Darmian will once again start in the absence of Denzel Dumfries.

There is, however, one area of doubt for Inzaghi.

The Nerazzurri coach is considering starting Hakan Calhanoglu this evening.

But on the other hand, Calhanoglu has already started two matches in the space of a week for Inter. And he’ll also certainly be in the starting eleven against Bayern Munich in a few days’ time.

Kristjan Asllani, on the other hand, will be suspended against Bayern.

Therefore, Inzaghi is still considering whether to start Asllani, or stick with Calhanoglu.
