With Norwich targeting some extra firepower in the transfer market, they have turned their sights to Kvistgaarden.

According to Tipsbladet, the Norfolk outfit are in the picture regarding a deal for the 23-year-old this summer with Brøndby close to selling their star.

French side Lens are also in negotiations with the Danish outfit over a potential move for the forward.

Les Sang et are confident of reaching an agreement however the report states that nothing has been finalised yet, with Norwich keen to secure Kvistgaarden’s services for themselves.

Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly another club keeping tabs on the saga.

Brøndby reportedly value Mathias Kvistgaarden around the €13 (£11) million mark, which would make him the most expensive sale in the side’s history.

Kvistgaarden netted 23 times for the Danish outfit last season and made his national team debut in May.

The attacker has a contract with Brøndby until 2027, but the club are realistic about their chances of keeping him in Denmark this summer.

In a similar fashion to Brøndby, it seems only a matter of time before Norwich City lose one of their star forwards this summer.

Josh Sargent has bagged 44 goals across the last three Championship campaigns and developed into one of the Canaries’ most important players as a result.

Clubs such as Wolfsburg, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Roma are all reportedly in the race for the 25-year-old’s signature.

Norwich could use the money from Sargent’s potential sale to sign Kvistgaarden, whose return last season has rightfully attracted clubs from all across Europe.

With proven goalscoring credentials and bags of potential at such a tender age, the Canaries could act fast to secure a suitable Sargent replacement.
