Nottingham Forest face a potential double injury concern before Friday's trip to Leeds United, with goalkeeper Matz Sels and winger Callum Hudson-Odoi doubts after the 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace.
Neco Williams was sent off on 45 minutes for a goal-line handball, with Ismaila Sarr scoring the penalty. At half-time Sels went off with a groin issue and Hudson-Odoi was withdrawn with a shoulder problem, later seen with his arm in a sling.
"Callum has got a knock on his shoulder," he told Nottinghamshire Live. "He landed on it awkwardly."
"He [Sels] is still a bit sore." "We are waiting over the next 48 hours, pre-game, to get some more advice on it."
If Sels fails a late test, he will join back-up goalkeeper John Victor on the sidelines and deadline-day signing Stefan Ortega could debut. Fellow late arrival Luca Netz could also start with Williams suspended and Nicolo Savona out injured.
"He [Savona] is in the awkward period of deciding what to do."
Forest remain without former Leeds striker Chris Wood, sidelined since October after knee surgery. Leeds will be without Anton Stach with a hip problem, with Lukas Nmecha likely out and Daniel James managed. Jaka Bijol could be involved, and James Justin is fit after toe fears eased.
