Nottingham Forest have announced the death of Irini Marinakis, mother of club owner Evangelos Marinakis.
The club said in a statement on social media that its thoughts were with Marinakis and his family at this difficult time.

The message, posted on Monday night, expressed deepest condolences and referred to Irini as a beloved mother.
Marinakis, 58, completed a takeover in 2017 to become Forest's majority shareholder at the City Ground.
He also owns Greek giants Olympiacos and Portuguese side Rio Ave, and there has been talk of the shipping magnate seeking to expand his club portfolio into Brazil.
