It’s common knowledge that Napoli have been trying to get a deal for Bologna winger Dan Ndoye over the line. The two sides still haven’t reached an agreement though, with Bologna still holding on for €45m, a sum that Napoli are hesitant to offer. That being said, the holding champions of Serie A have a personal agreement with the player. However, now as per calciomercato.com, Nottingham Forest have overtaken Napoli in the race. The Premier League club too have an agreement with Ndoye and are working quickly to reach a deal with Bologna. Ndoye will be their replacement to Anthony Elanga, who left for Newcastle United. It is the urgency that they have shown that has enabled them to move ahead of Napoli in the race. Napoli are now looking at new options. Reports today have come out about them joining the race for Ademola Lookman. Other candidates they are looking at are Jack Grealish, Antonio Nusa, Alejandro Garnacho and Federico Chiesa.Kaulik Mitra | GIFN
