Vitor Pereira has confirmed his Nottingham Forest side to face Midtjylland at the City Ground in the Europa League last 16 first leg this evening.

According to Nottingham Post, he makes three changes from the league game at the Etihad Stadium, with Morato, Omari Hutchinson and Callum Hudson-Odoi in for Ibrahim Sangare, Neco Williams and Nikola Milenkovic.

It could be either a back three or a four. Murillo may again operate at left-back, with Ola Aina, Jair Cunha and Morato also in front of goalkeeper Matz Sels.

Nicolas Dominguez and Elliot Anderson form the midfield pairing. Hutchinson and Hudson-Odoi link up with captain Morgan Gibbs-White to support forward Igor Jesus.

Forest want to put themselves in a strong position before next week’s return. They lost 3-2 to Midtjylland in the league phase under Ange Postecoglou, and reached this round by beating Fenerbahce on aggregate. A 2-2 draw at Manchester City last Wednesday and a free weekend have given Pereira time on the training ground.

Forest starting line-up: Sels, Aina, Jair, Morato, Murillo, Dominguez, Anderson, Hutchinson, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi, Jesus. Bench: Gunn, Willows, Williams, Sangare, Lucca, Yates, McAtee, Bakwa, Milenkovic, Abbott.
