Nuno Espirito Santo has said that West Ham could be without three first-team players for their trip to Bournemouth on Saturday.

Freddie Potts, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Niclas Fullkrug will be assessed ahead of the game at the Vitality Stadium.

Potts was substituted during the 3-2 win over Burnley before the international break, which was his second Premier League start.

Mavropanos was brought on as a half-time substitute during the 2-0 defeat to Brentford at the start of October, but had to be withdrawn late on with a hamstring injury.

The defender has missed West Ham’s last three games and did not travel with the Greek squad over the international break.

Fullkrug, meanwhile, has missed West Ham’s last four games with a thigh injury sustained before the October international break.

Nuno would not confirm whether the trio would be available against Bournemouth, and added that he was contending with other knocks after the international break.

“The players are recovering and getting better,” he said on Thursday. “We still have tomorrow, and then we will decide. There are some knocks from the break. It's something we don't want, but it's something that happens.

Fullkrug has struggled for fitness since joining West Ham last summer and has been linked with a January move away from West Ham.

But Nuno is adamant that the veteran striker remains part of his plans, having started him in his first two games in charge.

“We need all the players,” he said. “The noise outside isn't important for us. We're going to need all the players, and Niclas is one of those.”

Lucas Paqueta is out through suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season during the Burnley win.

George Earthy has returned to first team training following a hamstring injury but is unlikely to be risked as he continues to build up his match fitness.
