The player has already flirted with the idea, and according to this source, the sale is important for the Blues financially.

“Chelsea must sanction a major sale this summer and Enzo Fernandez is the obvious candidate – he’s keen to explore his options, and he’s aware of Real Madrid’s interest,” one source explained in quotes picked up by CaughtOffside.

“Fernandez fits the bill for Real, who want an elite ‘regista’ in midfield. The asking price could be an issue, though, as Chelsea will look to start the negotiations at £100-110m.”

We can’t see getting that sort of money – but we’d also think that an interested club could easily argue them down to £80m or so, with some bonuses for future success.
