The draw for the 2025/26 Copa del Rey semi-finals took place today at the Ciudad del Futbol Las Rozas, and FC Barcelona have now learned who they will be facing in the final four.
The Blaugrana, current holders of the trophy, entered the draw with the possibility of facing Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid, Athletic Club, or Real Sociedad in the semi-finals.
Now, it has been confirmed that Hansi Flick & co. will have to win against Atletico Madrid to secure a spot in the finals, in a replay of last season’s semi-finals.
Barcelona made it this far in the competition after seeing off Guadalajara, Racing Santander, and Albacete, securing comfortable victories in each of the matches.
The Catalans will now be looking to emulate those performances against Los Rojiblancos, who qualified for the semi-finals after beating Real Betis in the previous round.
The semi-finals are the only round of the entire Copa del Rey that will be played over two legs.
The first leg is scheduled for the week of February 11, while the return leg is scheduled for March 4. The two winners will meet in the grand final on April 18 or 19.
The first leg will be played at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, and the reverse fixture will take place at the Spotify Camp Nou.
