Official: Bayern re-sign 20-year-old starlet from Hannover 96

Noel Aseko will return to Bayern Munich from Hannover 96 at the end of the season.

After initially moving to Hannover on loan last summer, Aseko's move was made permanent by the 2. Bundesliga side.

But FC Bayern have now opted to activate a buy-back clause to ensure the 20-year-old's return to Munich at the end of the season, both clubs confirmed on Thursday.

"Noel has developed well with us both on and off the pitch. The formalities have now been settled. We will continue to remain in open-ended discussions with both the player and FC Bayern Munich," said Hannover 96 managing director Jörg Schmadtke.

Aseko has been a key player for Hannover this season, recording three goals and five assists in 25 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga.
