Chelsea confirmed a very late over night transfer done deal long after the window closed shut for the winter of 2025 last night.

It was a very bland transfer window for Chelsea, who only really managed to confirm a bunch of loan deals and did not sell anyone – with players like Christopher Nkunku, who wanted out, still at the club.

Sources: Chelsea plan to look at goalkeeper setup ‘from top to bottom’ this summer + new CB targets NAMED!!

Players such as Ben Chilwell, who got a late loan move to Crystal Palace in the end, and Joao Felix, who got his loan move away to AC Milan, will now spend the rest of the season playing more football than they would have got at Chelsea. But we will face all these same problems yet again trying to sell players in the summer when they all return from their loan moves.

Another player who finally got his loan move away was Axel Disasi, who had been pushing for a move all window as well but at one point looked like he was going to be forced to stay at Stamford Bridge until the summer at least.

Disasi to Villa confirmed

Chelsea finally confirmed that Disasi has joined Aston Villa on loan until the end of the season in the early hours of this morning via their official website.

They say:

‘Axel, the French international who signed from Monaco in August 2023, has featured 17 times under head coach Enzo Maresca this season.

‘The 26-year-old will now spend the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign at Villa Park and we look forward to supporting him during his loan spell.’

Well, the summer window is longer, so let’s hope we can find plenty of time to sell all of these players that we have out on loan, and that’s not even taking into account other problematic players like Raheem Sterling.
