Dan Ndoye has officially joined Nottingham Forest from Bologna FC. The Swiss international, who has Senegalese roots, has signed a five-year contract with the English club for a record fee of €45 million.
The 24-year-old winger thus becomes the most expensive signing in Nottingham Forest's history. The English club has agreed to pay €40 million plus €5 million in bonuses to Bologna FC to secure Dan Ndoye's services. The deal also includes a 10% resale clause in favor of the Italian club.
The Swiss player was courted by Napoli, but Nottingham Forest won the race thanks to a higher financial offer and the appeal of the Premier League for the Swiss international.
"I'm very happy to have signed with the club. It's a very intense period at Forest and I immediately knew I wanted to be part of the project. It's a very ambitious team with a fantastic history and I can't wait to get started," said Dan Ndoye at his unveiling.
