Fiorentina have officially signed Joao Mario on loan from Juventus for €1.8m, with an option to buy at the end of the season for a further €9.5m.
The Portugal international had only been purchased from FC Porto at a cost of €12m last summer, but struggled to make an impact in Turin.

He was sent out on loan to Bologna in February as part of an exchange with Emil Holm, but neither club decided to keep those players after the experience.
Now Joao Mario is hoping to find his form in Serie A with a transfer to Fiorentina under new coach Fabio Grosso.

The precise financial details provided by Juventus confirm that the Viola are paying €1.8m for the one-season loan.
Fiorentina also have an option to make it permanent at the end of the campaign for a further €9.5m, payable over three instalments.
The 26-year-old right-back made just 13 appearances for Juventus, contributing one assist.
He did better in his five months with Bologna, scoring twice in 15 competitive games.
