Official: Laimer furthers Bayern stay until 2029 with new contract | OneFootball

Bayern Munich have extended Konrad Laimer’s contract to 2029, securing the Austrian international’s future with the record German champions.

After the player himself hinted at developments earlier today, the club confirmed the agreement. He signed the deal at the Säbener Straße offices.

The 29-year-old has received an improved salary. He had previously sought a rise from €9 million to between €12 and €15 million, a level the club considered too high.

Negotiations produced a moderate increase, with honorary president Uli Hoeneß intervening during the talks.

Sporting director Max Eberl said Bayern are delighted Laimer will continue his journey at the club, praising his reliability, character and the way he inspires team-mates each day.
