Schalke have extended Loris Karius's contract ahead of schedule, the club confirmed, keeping the goalkeeper under contract until 30 June 2028.
The 32-year-old was instrumental in last season's promotion to the Bundesliga, making 30 appearances and recording 13 clean sheets.
