TSV 1860 Munich is working towards it's fresh start in the Regionalliga Bayern after insolvency and the resulting forced relegation.
Following the signing of the first six players on Thursday, the club secured the services of Florian Niederlechner this afternoon, 17 July.
The 35-year-old striker brings a wealth of experience, boasting 112 goals in 427 games across Germany's three professional leagues.
“A player with this skill, this nose for goal, and this experience is worth his weight in gold to us,” said 1860 managing director Thomas Probst.
"The fact that Flo is keeping his promise and playing in the Regionalliga wearing the Lions' jersey shows how much the club means to him.
“We are very grateful that we were able to finalize this contract and are delighted to continue this journey with him".
At one point, there were fears Niederlechner may leave in favour of SV Austria Salzburg, but he decided to stay out with the Lions instead.
