Official: One change as Real Madrid name starting XI to face Athletic Club | OneFootball

The XI of players set to be depended on by Real Madrid in the club’s meeting with Athletic Club has this evening been unveiled.

And it features a solitary change, from the line-up which got the better of Getafe over the weekend.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are of course primed to return to action in short order, having made the trip to the Basque Country for a La Liga clash against the aforementioned Athletic Club.

Los Blancos will head into proceedings with confidence high in the camp, fresh off a trio of successive league victories.

And, as alluded to above, a short time ago, the group of players entrusted to make it four wins on the spin at San Mamés was unveiled.

Stepping into the XI is the returning Aurélien Tchouaméni, fresh off his comeback following a spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

And dropping out as a result, marking a change in system, is attacker Brahim Díaz.
