Official: One in, one out as Real Madrid name squad to face Rayo Vallecano | OneFootball

The squad of players called upon by Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso for the club’s meeting with Rayo Vallecano has been unveiled online.

And it features a notable addition to the group which made the trip to Anfield to face Liverpool in midweek.

This comes amid confirmation that David Alaba has been cleared for competitive duties once more.

Stopper Alaba had spent recent weeks condemned to a fresh spell on the sidelines, owing to a muscular injury.

The Austrian, though, is back in the thick of things for the trip to Vallecas.

Turning focus towards those set to miss out on Sunday, the headline exclusion comes in the form of Aurélien Tchouaméni.

Midfielder Tchouaméni was this week diagnosed with a thigh injury, which is expected to keep him sidelined for several weeks.

Also ruled out of tomorrow’s outing are all of Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rüdiger, and Franco Mastantuono.
