Paris FC have confirmed the signing of winger Luca Koleosho on loan with an option to buy until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old joins the newly promoted Parisian side from RCD Espanyol, becoming Paris FC’s first official signing of the winter transfer window. Koleosho will wear the number 24 shirt and is immediately eligible to feature.

After impressing in England with Burnley, where he made 15 Premier League appearances and 28 in the Championship, the Italy U21 international moved to Espanyol on loan earlier this season. However, his minutes in Spain have been limited, with just three La Liga appearances and two outings in the Copa del Rey since August.

Paris FC sporting director Marco Neppe highlighted Koleosho’s athletic and technical profile when announcing the deal. “He is a very fast, energetic attacking player with great intensity, capable of causing problems for opposing defences both with and without the ball,” Neppe said. “His sporting qualities, personality, and the fact that he speaks French will help him adapt quickly.”

Koleosho could make his debut as early as Monday, with Paris FC set to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Coupe de France at the Parc des Princes.GFFN | George Boxall
