Official: Real Madrid Confirm Muscle Tear for Carvajal, Set to Miss Crucial October Clashes

Real Madrid confirmed on Sunday that captain Dani Carvajal suffered torn muscle in his right foot during Saturday’s derby defeat against Atletico Madrid (5 - 2).

The 33 year old right back left the pitch in the 59 minute making way for Eduardo Camavinga. Medical tests revealed muscle tear according to the club’s official statement.

Recovery timeline uncertain
